Schedule for ACS Judging & Competition 2027 Set

The American Cheese Society is pleased to share the schedule for the ACS Judging & Competition 2027.

Each year, this event celebrates the artistry, innovation, and dedication of cheesemakers across the Americas. From humble beginnings with just 89 entries to our recent competition featuring 1,638 entries across 142 distinct categories, every participant helps raise the bar for our industry.

We have some exciting changes in store for this year’s competition, including a comprehensive refresh of our categories to better highlight your craft. As Kari Skibbie, Chair of ACS Judging & Competition, shares:

“The 2027 ACS Judging & Competition will be one of our most exciting yet. With 12 new subcategories and a complete refresh of every category, we’re creating more opportunities than ever for cheesemakers to showcase their craft. These changes celebrate the innovation, quality, and diversity that continue to drive our industry forward. Call for Entries: Early Bird Pricing: January 5 – February 4, 2027. Regular Pricing: February 5 – March 18, 2027. No entries will be accepted after March 18, 2027.
Competition Week: Receiving: May 18–19, 2027, Judging: May 20–21, 2027

Membership Requirement: All entrants must be current ACS Organizational members to submit entries. Join or renew today to ensure you are eligible to enter when the window opens on January 5th!
