SIFLOR 2026: Colombian Floral Show Set for November

Bogota — Colombian and Latin American floriculture is preparing for a new edition of SIFLOR 2026, one of the most important academic and technical spaces in the region for the exchange of knowledge, strategic updating and articulation of the floriculture sector.
The event will take place on November 18 and 19, 2026, at the El Rodeo Country Club – La Macarena branch, in Rionegro, and will bring national and international together, producers, researchers, companies, experts and experts to the main challenges and trends in the floral industry. Organized by Asocolflores and Ceniflores, SIFLOR has established itself as a key platform for strengthening the sector’s competitiveness through knowledge transfer, applied innovation, and strategic networking among the various stakeholders in the production chain.
The agenda for this academic meeting will address topics related to innovation, sustainability, automation, artificial intelligence, geomatics, plant health, business leadership and competitiveness, the evolution of floriculture increasingly towards technological and efficient models.
Among the confirmed speakers and panelists are prominent national and international experts, as well as representatives academic institutions, research centers, and companies in the sector, Alba Marina Cotes, emeritus researcher at AGROSAVIA; Raymond Cloyd, from Kansas State University; Santiago Jaramillo, director of CENICAFÉ; Carlos Bojacá, Geomatics leader at CENIPALMA; and Anderson Páez, executive director of CENIFLORES, others among. Their participation will allow for the sharing of experiences, technical knowledge, and key trends to strengthen productivity and sustainability of the floral industry.
In addition to its academic component, SIFLOR is projected as a strategic platform for strengthening relationships between companies, and suppliers research centers, consolidating Colombia as a world leader in sustainable and innovative floriculture.
