Ingredients:
- ½ cup Galbani Whole Milk Ricotta
- 1 bagel (plain or sesame recommended), toasted and cut in half lengthwise
- 6–8 peach slices, fresh or frozen (defrosted)
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 2–3 tbsp. walnuts, toasted and coarsely chopped
Directions:
- Cut the bagel in half and toast.
- Spread ¼ cup ricotta on each bagel half.
- Place 3–4 peach slices on top of the ricotta.
- Drizzle each bagel half with 1 tablespoon honey.
- Sprinkle walnuts on top.
Ricotta Berry Breakfast Bowl
Ricotta topped with mixed berries, fresh lemon zest and crunchy granola.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup Galbani Whole Milk Ricotta
- 1 tbsp. lemon zest, plus more for garnish
- ¼ cup granola with sliced almonds
- ¾ cup mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries and strawberries), halved or quartered
Directions:
- Place ricotta in half of a medium-sized bowl.
- Mix 1 tbsp. lemon zest with ricotta.
- Wash the fruit and remove stems and leaves from strawberries.
- Cut strawberries in halves or quarters.
- Add the fruit to the other half of the bowl.
- Top with granola.
Ricotta Berry Banana Smoothie
A creamy blended drink combining ricotta with banana, strawberries, blueberries and cherries or raspberries.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup Galbani Whole Milk Ricotta
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup frozen whole strawberries
- ¼ cup frozen blueberries
- ¼ cup frozen tart cherries or raspberries
- Fresh berries and mint sprigs, for optional garnish
- Blend banana and milk in a blender on high speed or smoothie setting.
- Add ricotta, strawberries, blueberries and cherries or raspberries.
- Garnish with fresh fruit and mint, if desired.
