American Bakers Association (ABA) President and CEO Eric Dell has joined the Advisory Board of the CAPS Network, Inc. (Center for Advanced Professional Studies).

The appointment deepens ABA’s collaboration with the CAPS Network to introduce high school students to career pathways in commercial baking and position the industry as a destination workplace for the next generation.

“Establishing the commercial baking industry as a destination workplace starts with showing young people the opportunities our industry can offer,” said Dell. “Serving on the CAPS Network Advisory Board is a natural extension of ABA’s destination workplace strategic goal. I look forward to working alongside educators and employers to connect more students with meaningful career pathways and help shape the workforce of tomorrow.”

“CAPS Network and ABA share a commitment to helping young people connect with meaningful career opportunities,” said Corey Mohn, president and executive director of CAPS Network. “We’ve had a great collaboration, and we’re excited to continue it with Eric joining our Advisory Board and bringing the voice of the commercial baking industry into this important work.”

Since launching its collaboration with CAPS Network in 2025, ABA has leveraged the organization’s nationwide network to strengthen BakingWorks.org and expand its reach among students and educators.

By connecting commercial baking career opportunities with schools, educators and professional partners, the collaboration is helping more high school students discover pathways into the industry.
