A Fall Favorite Returns: O&H Danish Bakery’s Pumpkin Caramel Kringle Is Back at Trader Joe’s

RACINE, Wis. — O&H Danish Bakery today announced that a fall favorite, Pumpkin Caramel Kringle, has returned to Trader Joe’s stores nationwide this month for a limited time, bringing the flavors of pumpkin and caramel to the grocery chain across the U.S. The specialty flavor will also be available directly from O&H Danish Bakery for two-day nationwide shipping from through Nov. 29.

Kringle is a traditional Danish pastry made with 36 layers of buttery, flaky dough shaped into an oval and filled with flavors such as fruit, nuts, cheese or chocolate. Traditionally topped with icing, the pastry has become a sought-after find among Trader Joe’s shoppers and through shipping directly from the Wisconsin-based bakery. O&H’s festive Pumpkin Caramel Kringle puts a seasonal twist on the classic pastry, layering its signature dough with pumpkin, warm spices and caramel, before topping it with chopped pecans and sweet icing.

The Pumpkin Caramel Kringle will be available at participating Trader Joe’s stores nationwide for a limited time, while supplies last. At Trader Joe’s, shoppers can find it near the desserts and bread. Kringle-lovers who don’t have a Trader Joe’s nearby can also get the Pumpkin Caramel Kringle via two-day nationwide shipping through O&H Danish Bakery’s website from Aug. 31 through Nov. 29 and at all five O&H Danish Bakery locations in southeastern Wisconsin from Sept. 28 through Nov. 29.

For even more seasonal flavor, O&H’s lineup, available directly through the bakery, also includes its latest Homecoming Series addition, Brown Sugar Mocha Kringle, and its brand-new Black Forest Kringle. Returning to the Homecoming Series, Brown Sugar Mocha features brown sugar filling layered with vanilla cream and blended with espresso and chocolate. It’s topped with creamy caramel frosting and garnished with chocolate shavings, it’s available online from Sept. 7 through Sept. 27. Black Forest Kringle features rich chocolate filling layered with Door County Cherry filling infused with Kirsch, a cherry brandy famous in the region.
