vAnaheim, Calif. – Frieda’s Branded Produce is returning to IFPA’s The Foodservice Conference in Monterey, California, exhibiting for the first time in nearly a decade. The company arrives with it’s sister companies, Cal Fresco and Legacy Farms, at Booth 915 on July 23-24.

The booth will feature exclusive foodservice growing programs and category expertise tailored for the full range of foodservice operations, from multi-unit restaurant chains and quick service restaurants to fine dining, K-12 lunch programs and commissary partners. On July 23, the Frieda’s team is also participating in buyer sourcing meetings, giving operators and distributors a chance to collaborate with category and sourcing experts for specialty produce and the top-selling vegetable commodities.

“Foodservice buyers want what our retail partners want: consistent supply, produce that customers crave and a responsive partner who takes client success personally,” said Alex Jackson, vice president of sales and marketing at Frieda’s. “We’ve spent over 20 years building it at a scale to serve national distributors, chains that range from 100-2,500 locations, and everything in between. We’re ready to prove we’re a strong partner for any chain or operation, and we’re excited to share our capabilities at the IFPA Foodservice Conference.”

Frieda’s Return Marks a Renewed Foodservice Investment

Since 1962, Frieda’s has brought more than 200 fruits and vegetables to the U.S. market, including kiwifruit, jicama, spaghetti squash and dragon fruit, items that now influence menus at every level of foodservice. In Monterey, Frieda’s investment in the industry is coming to life, and company experts are ready to build differentiated produce programs that enable menu creativity and scalable success.

Attendees can stop by the booth to meet the team, talk specialty produce promotions and menu adds or get an energy boost by tipping back a tasty immunity shot.

Frieda’s is back in foodservice, and the brand will be a must-visit at IFPA Foodservice Conference. Attendees can also connect with Frieda’s during the buyer sourcing meetings on Thursday, July 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
