FREEMAN, Mo. – Missouri lawmakers want to help current dairy farmers stay in business and add new ones to help the state's dairy industry stop falling behind.
When Eric Neill started his dairy farm a few years ago, that was the last day he went to work. "I love everything about it," he laughed. "I'm a free man."
He is free from his construction career and, a rarity in Missouri, is now a new dairy farmer.
