In a mockumentary-style campaign by Havas Chicago, Mindy Porter, a self-professed "meathead," showcases her unconventional upbringing with a love for meat. From her first word "tenderloin" to her prom photos featuring a rack of ribs, Mindy embodies a quirky, comedic character promoting the jerky product Yumbo, aptly named for its deliciousness and size. The campaign highlights the humor and uniqueness of its protagonist while emphasizing the fun of the brand.
The work, filmed mockumentary-style, comes from recently named AOR Havas Chicago.
Mindy Porter wasn’t like the other girls growing up, given that her first spoken word was “tenderloin,” her childhood tea parties served T-bones instead of cookies, and her prom photos captured her gnawing on a rack of ribs.
Mindy, you see, is a self-professed meathead.
The character, played by an actor chosen for her improv comedy chops, stars in a cheeky new campaign from Havas Chicago for a jerky product called Yumbo (a portmanteau of yum and jumbo).
