Just two months after opening the first two-story grocery store in the Raleigh-Durham area, Harris Teeter is already making some changes to its North Hills location in response to shopper demands.

The grocer is moving certain merchandise on the first floor to the second floor and vice versa. The store has received numerous requests for the changes since opening Feb. 10.

Harris Teeter spokeswoman Catherine Reuhl says the work will begin the evening of April 12 and will be completed the week of May 10. The wine set and floral gallery will be moved upstairs, while the cereal, juice and baking aisle will be moved downstairs.
