New H-E-B App Will Let You Scan Items As You Go At Certain Stores

AUSTIN — Instead of standing in line to checkout, H-E-B is piloting a new service at select stores that will let people use an app to scan groceries as they go and then pay on their phones.
The H-E-B Go app is available for Apple and Android devices at a limited number of stores. It was first piloted at two stores in San Antonio, but it has since expanded to select stores in the Austin area:
- 651 N. US Highway 183, Leander
- 250 University Blvd., Round Rock
- 1700 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock
- 14028 North U.S. 183, Austin
- 500 Canyon Ridge Dr., Austin
- 2000 RR 620 S., Lakeway
- 5401 S. FM 1626, Kyle
- 2965 I-35 North, New Braunfels
- 5000 Gattis School Road, Hutto
- 516 S. Flores St., San Antonio
- 12777 IH 10 West, San Antonio
