JERSEY CITY — Blue Apron, the meal-kit delivery company, plans to close a fulfillment center in the city, eliminating more than 1,200 jobs at the facility, according to a report.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the company plans to eliminate or relocate about a quarter of its workforce in October.

The announcement caused the Blue Apron Holdings Inc.'s stock to plummet to a record low on Friday, the report said.
