REIDSVILLE, Ga. – Healthy Family Project’s fall Publix Produce for Kids campaign is underway, bringing together Publix and 21 produce partners to help provide more than 1 million meals to Feeding America® partner food banks across Publix communities. The campaign runs through Nov. 4 at all 1,443 Publix stores.

Since its launch in 2002, the biannual Produce for Kids campaign at Publix has raised more than $4.5 million to support causes benefiting children and families and has helped provide more than 18 million meals* through Feeding America partner food banks.

Throughout the campaign, shoppers will find in-store signage highlighting participating produce partners alongside simple meal inspiration designed to help families add more fruits and vegetables to their everyday routines.

Healthy Family Project is kicking off the campaign with an in the kitchen dietitian-led video featuring campaign details and nutrition info, highlighting Halloween-themed produce snacks in collaboration with campaign partners. Throughout the fall campaign, Healthy Family Project will distribute recipe content and healthy eating tips through a comprehensive mix of email marketing, social media, and digital channels incorporating Healthy Family Project registered dietitians.

The USDA estimates that 1 in 5 children in the United States experience food insecurity. The participating produce companies are helping to meet this urgent need through meals donated to local Feeding America partner food banks throughout the Publix footprint.
