Morus Charlotte Russe 'Plant Of The Year 2017' At Chelsea Flower Show

Morus rotunbiloba Charlotte Russe ('Matsunaga'PBR) won the prestigious title “Plant of the year 2017” at the Chelsea Flower Show. Charlotte Russe is a compact mulberry that gives a lot of fruit on new wood. An excellent fruit shrub for smaller gardens or the terrace. Plantipp is extremely proud to be the manager of this winner that was found by breeder Hajime Matsunaga from Japan and is exclusively available at Sutton's. 

Clematis ‘Taiga’, also managed by Plantipp, was fourth in the competition. This beauty has amazing flowers and is bred by Shigeaki Ochiai. Plantipp is thrilled with this outcome!
