Malinalco, Mexico – With the clear objective of promoting the natural, historical, human and cultural wealth of the south of the State of Mexico, the flower and mezcal industry has been promoted, and work has been done on a route so that the people of the State of Mexico and visitors from other states can enjoy the benefits of this land.
Therefore, at the initiative of the Governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Tourism and the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, through their heads, Laura González Hernández, Nelly Carrasco and Patricia Zarza, respectively, have worked to create and promote The Flower and Mezcal Route, an extraordinary project that translates into progress and development for the entity.
