G.U.L.F. is proud to work with restaurants that are dedicated to supporting local fisheries. Our network of partners continues to grow, and this month we are excited to welcome four new restaurants into the Restaurant Partnership Program.
Kenton's – 5757 Magazine St. Suite A New Orleans, LA 70115
Kenton's is an American whiskey bar and restaurant with a menu of the smoked, grilled, and charred flavors that have an affinity for bourbon. The restaurant's namesake is Simon Kenton, a founder of the town of Maysville, the Kentucky port town from which whiskey was first shipped out of state on flatboats.
Cafe Sbisa – 1011 Decatur St. New Orleans, LA 70116
Cafe Sbisa lives the idea of "dock to dish." The third oldest fine dining restaurant in the French Quarter, it reopened in October 2016 under the chef and manager that ran it until Hurricane Katrina. Cafe Sbisa celebrates the diverse flavors of New Orleans seafood, getting its seafood straight from its own dock in Hopedale, Louisiana.
LeBlanc + Smith Restaurant Group
Cavan – 3607 Magazine St. New Orleans, LA 70115
Located in Uptown New Orleans with a focus on coastal cuisine, Cavan is the latest addition to the LeBlanc + Smith Restaurant Group. It joins its sister restaurant Meauxbar, an inaugural G.U.L.F. restaurant partner, in supporting local seafood.
Sylvain – 625 Chartres St. New Orleans, LA 70130
Sylvain completes the family of LeBlanc + Smith establishments to join the G.U.L.F. Restaurant Partnership Program. It aims to celebrate both the new and the old, located at the site of an historic three-story carriage house that was constructed in 1776. Sylvain is "an oasis of style and unmatched quality in the French Quarter of New Orleans."
