Angelic Bakehouse Expands To SuperTarget Stores

Angelic Bakehouse, which makes a variety of bread and snack goods using sprouted grains, is bringing its products to more than 100 SuperTarget stores across the country, the company said Thursday.
It's the latest sign of growth from the Cudahy-based producer of bread products, which has been rapidly infiltrating grocery stores all around the country over the past few years. Angelic released its first snack line earlier this fall, launched in almost 50 Costco stores in the Midwest in the spring, and in 2015 the company expanded into 265 grocery stores in the Northeast, as well as Meijer stores.
With this latest deal, Angelic's hamburger buns, dinner rolls, wraps and baguettes are now available in 114 SuperTarget stores. SuperTargets are similar to regular Target (NYSE: TGT) stores, except they typically have a larger physical footprint and have a fully stocked grocery department.
