Salinas, CA – Green Giant™ Fresh has developed a new mouth-watering Sweet Potato Cinnamon Roll recipe that has been selected as one of ten finalists by a panel of 11 judges for the 2015 PMA Sensory Experience Contest.

The judging criteria include, in part, the Produce-Centric nature of the recipe and if the item is Innovative, Visually Appealing, Kid Friendly and offers a perceived nutritional or health value. This new recipe created by Green Giant Fresh boasts 50% Sweet Potatoes in its ingredients and is “as sweet and ooey, gooey good as any cinnamon roll you’ve ever had, but with impressive nutrition value” noted Director of Marketing, Jennifer Fancher.

The Fresh Ideas in Action Reception will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015, where event planners are expecting 200-250 Fresh Summit attendees. Show guests will be welcome to taste the finalist’s recipes after the judges have concluded their private sessions with all the contenders. Judges will make their final decision on the contest winner by evaluating the Taste, Aroma and Presentation of the respective recipes.

The winner will be awarded with a digital ad in Fresh Magazine, recognition in a PMA press release as well as on PMA’s website, and a framed award.
