Del Campo Wins The Distinctive ESR 2015 Social Responsibility Award

On Wednesday April 8, 2015 the CEMEFI (Centro Mexicano Para la Filantropia) and AliaRSE (Alianza por la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial) recognized and awarded the Distinctive ESR 2015 award to Del Campo Y Asociados S.A. This is the 6th time Del Campo has received the ESR award for improving the life of their employees, business ethics and community involvement.

Del Campo will be presented the award at the VIII Latin American Meeting of Socially Responsible Companies event on May 7th at the Hotel Camino Real Polanco in Mexico City.

“We are deeply honored to receive this award” says Diego Ley General Manager of Del Campo Supreme. “Our company was founded over 30 years ago on the philosophy of giving back to our employees and our communities. Without this vision we would not have achieved what we have today.”

Recently Juan Jose Ley, General Manager for the Mexico Operations participated on the Social Responsibility panel at Viva Fresh Expo where he presented an overview of Del Campo’s social responsibility program. Del Campo employs between 2,500 and 3,500 workers a year and has over an 80% retention rate. “We work very hard to provide a quality life for our employees and their families. We have on-site day-care to adult education classes, on-site medical services, we offer free meals for the students, safe and secure housing facilities and organize many community events that help enrich lives” says Juan Jose Ley.
