The Chef’s Warehouse Buys Del Monte Meat Of West Sacramento

The Chef's Warehouse, a publicly traded specialty food distributor from Connecticut, has agreed to pay $191.2 million for West Sacramento-based Del Monte Meat Co. Inc.
Del Monte has offices in West Sacramento, San Francisco, Oakland, Monterey and Napa, and it operates Ports Seafood in San Francisco. The company supplies beef, lamb, veal, poultry and seafood. It has a full butchering operation, and can deliver fresh and frozen meats to restaurants and food services.
It also supplies deli meat, fine meat, sausages, cured meat, fully cooked meat and other products.
