Located next to IU – Indiana University, this new concept utilizes a conveyor belt to bring the sushi items “to the customer.”

This Hissho location is the first, outside of a University setting, to offer a Pan Asian menu that includes Banh Mi, Pho and Rice Bowls.  The traditional beef, chicken, pork and tofu items along with vegetarian dishes, offer a full range of options.      

Hissho Sushi, headquartered in Charlotte NC, is a thriving sushi franchise which now has 745 locations in 40 states.  Philip Maung, the CEO, came to the United States from Myanmar in 1989 with only $13 in his pocket, and started his sushi business in 1998.
