More than 500 stores participated in the month-long campaign from Price Chopper, Redner’s Markets, Shoppers Food & Pharmacy, Safeway and Weis Markets. Signage was posted in the dairy case and at checkout with a reminder for shoppers to round up their change to donate to Fill a Glass with Hope.

American Dairy Association North East is partnering with SHOPPERS Food & Pharmacy for a Mother’s Day campaign to provide fresh milk to Maryland and District of Columbia families in need. Dairy farmer Trisha Knight Boyce of Easton, Md., is supporting the charitable Fill a Glass with Hope® retail campaign in the media.

Fill A Glass With Hope Raises $135,500 to Provide Milk to Families in Need

Dairy farmer and Pennsylvania Dairy Promotion Program chair Lolly Lesher, Bernville, Pa., helped kick off the 2024 Fill a Glass with Hope® campaign at the Pennsylvania Farm Show. Spearheaded by Feeding Pennsylvania and local food banks, the campaign raised $135,500 in donations to feed Pennsylvania’s food-insecure families. To date, the campaign has provided more than 36 million servings of fresh milk to nourish those in need.
