Portland, Ore. – Starfish Inc., the value added division of Pacific Seafood, a family owned seafood company based in Portland, Ore., has just launched a retail version of their Panko Breaded Shrimp Burger. The food service offering of the Ultimate Shrimp Burger was introduced at this past year’s International Boston Seafood Show and was an immediate hit. The Ultimate Shrimp Burger™ is the first shrimp burger on the market made with whole Vannamei white shrimp, offering 7 shrimp in each burger.
Starfish National Retail Manager, Bob Leavengood, is excited about this new product saying, “We do not use fillers, and the consumer experiences whole shrimp in each bite. The retail pack consists of two 3.5 oz. oven ready crispy, panko breaded shrimp burgers that are processed right here in the U.S. Ready to serve in minutes, they have been very well received in preliminary trials.”
