Petersburg, FL – The year’s quota for black sea bass in the South Atlantic has already been reached.
So, as of July 15, no more of the fish can be caught for sale.
The National Marine Fisheries Service says 309,000 pounds of the fish has been captured by commercial fishermen.
No more can be caught for barter, trade or sale until June 1, 2012.
