Northern Wind Appoints Stuart R. Benton, CPA, CGMA as Chief Financial Officer

New Bedford, MA — Northern Wind, a leading vertically integrated seafood company and one of North America’s largest scallop and seafood producers, is excited to announce the appointment of Stuart R. Benton, CPA, CGMA as Chief Financial Officer. The appointment marks a significant step in Northern Wind’s continued evolution as a global seafood platform focused on scalable growth, operational excellence and long term value creation.

As Chief Financial Officer of Northern Wind, Benton will lead the company’s global financial strategy and enhance governance to support its expanding domestic and international footprint. He will oversee the organization’s core financial functions and serve as a strategic partner to the Board and CEO driving financial discipline, operational alignment and performance accountability across the enterprise. Benton will also play a critical role in advancing the company’s growth strategy, including mergers and acquisitions, disciplined capital allocation and initiatives designed to position the business for sustained long term success.

Benton brings more than three decades of executive leadership experience across consumer brands, manufacturing and distribution organizations. Most recently, he served as CFO for Reiser, a global food processing and equipment group, where he led multi country financial operations and supported growth initiatives across North America and Europe.
