Channel Fish’s first exhibit at PLMA highlights how the company pairs generations of seafood expertise with the flexibility, innovation and customer service today’s marketplace demands. Through customer-focused product development and a collaborative approach, Channel Fish helps retail and club store partners bring differentiated seafood items to market.

The company’s three newest products — Mini Salmon Arepas, Chicken Fried Wild Alaska Sole Tenders and Jalapeño Popper Shrimp — have been selected for display in the New Product Expo at PLMA’s World of Ideas, located in the convention center’s main lobby. Attendees can also sample the products at Booth No. F9925, where they can learn more about the latest innovations and the company’s full lineup of fresh, frozen and value-added seafood.

The new items complement Channel Fish’s core retail programs. From fresh seafood to custom-battered, breaded, encrusted or glazed products, the company works closely with customers to meet evolving consumer needs.

“As we celebrate our first 80 years in business, we’re also looking ahead to the next 80,” said Channel Fish President Tom Zaffiro. “Our goal is to be the most trusted and adaptive partner in the seafood industry, and that means listening to our customers, responding to their changing needs and continuing to innovate. Our core fresh and value-added programs remain central to who we are, while products like Mini Salmon Arepas, Chicken Fried Wild Alaska Sole Tenders and Jalapeño Popper Shrimp show how we continue to evolve. We want to give customers both the dependable seafood they rely on every day and exciting new products that bring more shoppers into the seafood category.”
