Bar Harbor Lobster Co. Inc. will start work in the next two weeks on a $2.2 million, 18,000-square-foot expansion in Orlando.
Orlando-based H.J. High Construction Co. is the general contractor on the project, which will include a 10,000-square-foot freezer with a live lobster holding facility and a receiving dock.
The project likely will finish up in October, said Jeff Hazell, founder and president of Bar Harbor Lobster. The project essentially will double the size of the firm’s existing building.
