Sacramento, CA – Located in the heart of Sacramento, Trinity Fresh has offered customers fresh local produce for many years. Now that Sacramento has been branded the “Farm-to-Fork Capitol of America” a natural partnership has formed between Trinity Fresh and Sacramento’s Farm-to-Fork initiative.
Trinity Fresh currently delivers fresh produce, dairy and other food service items to many Sacramento multi-chain restaurants, area hospitals and casinos. Already, Cattlemens Steakhouse and Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s Four Diamond Restaurant, High Steaks have started working on special menu items featuring Farm-to-Fork products.
Trinity Fresh began working this month notifying customers which items they already purchase are considered Farm-to-Fork items. In order to fit the initiative’s guidelines “Farm-to-Fork” branded products must be produced within 100 miles of Sacramento. In addition to branding current products Trinity is working with some new growers to offer even more Farm-to-Fork selections including cippolinis (mini onions), specialty heirloom tomatoes, and fingerling potatoes.
Trinity Fresh will also be involved in the upcoming Farm-to-Fork week, September 21-29th and the Gala Dinner on the Tower Bridge on Sunday September 29th.
