DALLAS, TX — SilverChef USA, part of the Australian-founded hospitality equipment financier SilverChef Group, has appointed Madeleine Hopkins as Director of Operations and Customer Experience.

With Hopkins’ appointment as the first operations lead in the U.S., SilverChef is building on its commitment to supporting its growing network of commercial kitchen equipment dealers, distributors, and hospitality operators as it faces rapid growth in the country.

Hopkins will work alongside Jon Jacobs, President of U.S. Operations, to prioritize commercial growth grounded in disciplined risk and credit management.

Proven leadership across international markets and complex business functions
Hopkins has led complex operations and departments across SilverChef’s Australian and Canadian teams, including analytics, collections, certified use, and credit management. Throughout her roles, she has delivered major improvements in business performance, customer service, and risk management.

As an Analytics and Implementation Manager, Hopkins leveraged data and business insights to improve processes, implementation and overall performance.

When she stepped into the role of Collections Manager, she overhauled the department’s processes and approach, resulting in the business’ lowest arrears rates in years, earning her SilverChef Group’s Global Leadership Award that recognizes the most inspiring leader in the organization.

As Vice President of Certified Used, she took on one of the company’s most complex areas and widened operators’ access to quality used equipment, lifting the share of inventory ready for sale from roughly 20-30% to about 70%.

In her new role, Hopkins will optimize and expand the operations department to strengthen the support framework for the sales function as SilverChef expands its reach across the U.S.

“My time at SilverChef helped develop my understanding of making sound commercial decisions, supporting sales without blindly chasing growth at any cost, and never losing sight of risk or the customer experience,” says Madeleine Hopkins, Director of Operations and Customer Experience at SilverChef USA. “That matters especially now, when restaurant operators need more flexibility in how they invest in equipment and manage their cash flow. My goal is to give dealers and distributors stronger operational support and reduce friction in the processes. Increasing accessibility to flexible financing options is how we can help more operators equip their kitchens and keep moving their businesses forward.”

“Madeleine has consistently taken on some of the most challenging areas of the business and left them stronger than she found them,” says Jon Jacobs, President of U.S. Operations at SilverChef. “She understands how credit, customer service, sales support and operational discipline need to work together. That breadth of experience makes her the right person to build out our U.S. operations strategy and help our dealer partners deliver the best possible experience to hospitality operators at a time when they need it most.”

Strong dealer support helps hospitality businesses grow sustainably
SilverChef’s core offering to the market is Rent-Try-Buy, which lets dealers give operators a flexible way to equip or expand a kitchen without draining their cash, with the freedom to change, upgrade, return or buy along the way.

Hopkins’ expertise in commercial kitchen equipment will be essential as SilverChef strengthens support for dealers guiding hospitality operators through key equipment decisions. As the restaurant industry faces continued volatility, clear guidance and consistent operational support can help dealers give customers greater confidence in how they invest in equipment.
