ShopRite To Host Dietitian Health Event And Expo

ShopRite’s team of registered dietitians will be hosting a Health Event and Expo on Monday, October 24th to introduce their services to local nutrition professionals. The event will take place from 4-7 pm at the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel in East Rutherford, NJ. Local dietitians and nutritionists in attendance will learn about the free services and partnership opportunities available through ShopRite’s Retail Dietitian program. An opportunity for ShopRite’s dietitians to educate like-minded professionals, this event also provides the community’s nutrition professionals with a networking opportunity and a resource for support outside of their practice or workplace.

As part of ShopRite’s commitment to helping its customers live healthier lives, a unique feature at select ShopRites is a registered dietitian who is available for customer consultation. This free service offers customers the opportunity to discuss their health and dietary needs with a dietitian to create customized meal plans. ShopRite’s registered dietitians also educate customers on a number of issues, including learning how to shop for healthy meals, proper nutrition for specific medical conditions or how to get more fruits and vegetables into your diet.
