Save Mart To Close Two Stores In Sacramento Region

Modesto-based Save Mart Supermarkets said Tuesday that it will close two “struggling” stores in the Sacramento area by March 19.
No closures are planned in the central San Joaquin Valley, according to Save Mart.
Save Mart spokeswoman Nannette Miranda said the stores slated for closure are at 2735 Marconi Ave. – in the Town & Country Village shopping center – in Sacramento and at 8839 Greenback Lane in Orangevale.
Miranda said about 50 people are employed at each store.
