LAKELAND, Fla. — Publix Super Markets Inc. is offering seasonal employment in 41 select stores across 12 Southwest Florida cities. Temporary employment will run December 2011 – April 2012, and the following positions will be offered: cashiers, front-service clerks, and grocery, bakery, deli and produce clerks, as well as cake decorators, meat cutters and seafood specialists.

Interested candidates should be 18 years of age or older, available to work anytime or at a minimum of every night and weekend, and looking for 25 – 35 hours weekly. Of the seasonal associates hired last year, 94 percent rated their overall experience as Good or Very Good.
