BALTIMORE — Lidl will open its first city-based grocery store in Northeast Baltimore on July 13.
The German grocer is bringing 45 new jobs to Northwood Commons, an aged strip mall next to Morgan State University off Hillen Road and Argonne Drive that is currently in the midst of a redevelopment.
Lidl is in expansion mode in the Mid-Atlantic this year, with a second Baltimore store still in development and other locations already open in the surrounding counties.
