Instacart Calls Indianapolis Launch A Success, Expands To Fishers

Who knew Indianapolis had pent-up demand for personal shoppers?

Instacart, the online grocery-delivery company, said its August launch in Indianapolis has been so successful that it has expanded its delivery area to Fishers.

“We've received some of the highest customer ratings of any Instacart launch to date,” the San Francisco company said of its move into Indianapolis, the 17th city it has entered.

So robust was the demand that Instacart on Thursday added Fishers to its initial delivery area that covers Downtown, much of the Northside and Carmel.
