Fountain Inn, SC: D&W Fine Pack, now one of the largest food packaging firms in North America after the mergers of Dispoz-o Products, Wilkinson Industries and C&M Fine Pack, announces that it is continuing its expansion with the construction of its new corporate offices in South Carolina.
“We had several options when we looked at accommodating all of the additional personnel,” stated Joseph Lancia, President & CEO of D&W Fine Pack, “but the best decision was to locate our new corporate offices on the campus of our manufacturing facility here in Fountain Inn. Not only did we have the available land but we thought it would serve our employees and customers best to have our key personnel close to one of our facilities.”
Construction of the new corporate offices will begin by the end of June and are scheduled for completion by December of 2010. The new offices will make room for an expanding employee base at the corporate headquarters. After the recent announcement to locate the corporate headquarters to the Fountain Inn, SC facility, D&W has continued to hire for positions in sales, marketing and customer service positions. In addition, many of the key senior executives are in the process of relocating to the new facility.
“Our decision to expand our facility to include our corporate offices not only addresses the needs that we have today,” added Lancia, “but this sets the stage for the future. D&W Fine Pack continues to have a real appetite for acquisitions. This is just the beginning.”
D&W Fine Pack will maintain three distinct brands. The Dispoz-o brand includes disposable cutlery, cutlery kits, straws, foam products and a biodegradable line of disposable products. The Wilkinson brand includes clear plastic deli containers, hinged containers, platters, bowls, aluminum foil, pans, pie plates and a compostable PLA line of products. The C&M brand includes plastic plates, bowls, containers, trays and baskets.
