I am very pleased to announce that David Stansfield has been appointed President of Pate Dawson Company.

Dave joined our company in July of 2010 and has demonstrated great skills in developing many of the internal functions of our business and helping to build the Pate Dawson team. Dave now assumes operatingresponsibility for our company.

Dave brings to Pate Dawson Company many years of experience in the distribution industry. Before joining us he served as the President of IFH in Hickory, NC and prior to that he spent many years in the Kraft/Alliant Foodservice organization progressing from a salesperson to President of several operating companies. He has served on the Boards of Directors of the International Foodservice Distributors Association and UniPro as well as the North Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association. Dave also serves as an “outside” director of VIP Foodservice in Hawai'i

Dave and his wife Judy have three children Sarah, DJ and Ashley. The family will reside in Goldsboro and in Carolina Beach.

I will remain as Chief Executive Officer of both Pate Dawson Company and Meat and Seafood Solutions (Southern Foods). Bill Mutton is the President of Meat and Seafood Solutions (Southern Foods). Mike Ziebell is the Chief Financial Officer of both companies. Micah Sullivan leads the information systems and business analyst teams for both companies. Jim Cremins continues in his role of Business Development and other projects for both companies. This group makes up our Executive Team all reporting to me.
