Bi-Lo Banner Has New President

A representative of Bi-Lo Holdings Inc. has confirmed that the former CEO and president of the Bi-Lo banner, Michael Byars, is no longer with the company.
He has been replaced by another Bi-Lo executive, Anthea Jones, as president and senior vice president of operations.
Byars was the chief executive of the Bi-Lo banner prior to its merger with Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. in March 2012, when Randall Onstead was named president and CEO of the parent company. Byars continued to be based in Greenville, S.C., where the company was headquartered before the merger. There is no designated president position for the Winn-Dixie banner.
Prior to his appointment, Jones served as the senior vice president of store operations for the Bi-Lo banner.
