Smoky Mountain Family Farms (SMFF) premium tomato farm in Newport, TN has some big changes to announce for the upcoming 2019 season! We are thrilled that on site sales are now managed by Jerry Simmons Jr. In addition to some new management changes, we have also created a strategic partnership with Gargiulo Inc providing both operational and sales support.
“The alliance between Gargiulo and Smoky Mountain Family Farms will provide opportunities for both organizations to expand their product offerings with consistent quality and supply. We look forward to building on the resources of both companies to create value for our customers.” Says Mike Sullivan of Gargiulo Farms.
We have also made some changes with a focus on fruit quality in mind. We have equipped our growing programs with new seed varieties for better taste and quality. We have also expanded our organic acreage and product lines. We now grow both organic roma and grape tomato varieties. We are always determined to exceed our merits of previous seasons and await a noticeable improvement in our fruit quality this season.
