Cultivating Change is a local farm grant program created by Greener Fields Together as a way to give back to the local farmers who play a crucial role in PRO*ACT’s fresh produce supply chain. Funded by donations from PRO*ACT’s distributor network, Cultivating Change is committed to supporting local farms to improve their ability to grow, market, and distribute safe and sustainable produce.
Max Yeater, PRO*ACT President and CEO, comments, “We are proud to give back to farms that make such a large contribution to their local community. The Cultivating Change grants give these local farmers an opportunity to fund projects that will allow them to invest in their current and future operations. Through these improvements they are paving a way for the next generation of farmers.”
