Loxahatchee, FL: J&J Family of Farms is excited to announce the following promotions as a part of its strategic growth plan.
After 3+ years with J&J, Bill Hoover has been promoted to Director of Operations. Bill will plan, organize, direct and control the activities of our operations to deliver our Trophy experience to our customer-partners. “Bill’s operational knowledge and experience are a key component in the success of the ongoing operational improvement initiatives currently underway at J&J,” said Tom Travers, COO of J&J Family of Farms. When asked about his new role with J&J, Hoover commented, “I look forward to the opportunity for myself and our operations team to continue to grow with the J&J Family as we enhance the reputation of J&J Family of Farms as a premier grower, packer and shipper of high quality produce.”
Christy Cunningham will be taking on the new role of Product Development and Marketing Manager. Christy will lead and manage all efforts in public relations and marketing, including trade, direct customer, direct consumer and food shows. In commenting on her new role, Christy stated “To see where this company has come from since the days that my Dad started it out of our garage to where we are today is incredible. I am excited to be part of leading the culture of innovation at J&J while leveraging our family’s legacy.” Chris Coffman, Senior VP of Marketing and Strategy of J&J commented, “We are excited to support Christy as she utilizes her talents and capabilities to expand our new product offerings and marketing programs to enhance our value proposition in the marketplace.”
After several years as sales coordinator, Scott Payne has been promoted to a new position as Supply Chain Manager. Scott will direct, coordinate, monitor and manage the movement of product from farm, grower and vendor sources through our distribution network to ensure timely and efficient service to customers. “Having worked for J&J Family of Farms for a number of years, I am eager to utilize my knowledge of produce and our customer base to help facilitate the growth of our Supply Chain process. I look forward to the new challenges that we have ahead of us here at J&J, and I am excited about the opportunity to increase our levels of quality, productivity and customer service.” Tom Travers, J&J Family of Farms COO added “Scott’s dedication, initiative, and experience managing our grower partners has led to his promotion to Supply Chain Manager.”
