Henry Dill has joined the staff as Vice President, Sales. Henry was most recently with PIM of Salinas, where he spent 22 years in sales and sales manager roles. Henry began his foray into the produce industry in 1979 with the Garin Company, and did sales stints at Bruce Church, Code (which later merged with Fresh Network) and D’Arrigo Brothers before joining PIM. At Ippolito he will provide sales direction as well as share his knowledge of the production process to the sales team, while staying in contact with the numerous customer/friends he has cultivated over the years.

“I feel like I’m coming home,” Henry stated “My grandfather was a California farmer in the 1920’s and my uncles followed him, so growing produce is in my roots. Unlike many other companies, Ippolito is a ground-based producer, which allows firm control of all stages of production. It’s great to have that control to ensure the consistency of quality for which Ippolito in known.”

Henry attended Santa Clara University and graduated with a B. S. in finance degree.

Sarah Clarke has also joined the team with the title of Sales and Commodity Manager. Bringing 14 years of produce industry experience, Sarah was most recently with Dole where she spent 12 ½ years in sales. She sold the full Fresh Pack line, Food Service line and provided customer service for the full Value Added line. Her territories included the Midwest and the Southeast. Sarah graduated from Fresno State with a B.S. in finance, and entered the produce industry working for Colorful Harvest.

Dan Canales, Senior Vice President of Sales, said “We are extremely fortunate to bring in Henry and Sarah with their wealth of expertise. Henry has deep knowledge of all aspects of production, foodservice and retail business, and outstanding team management skills. We are excited to have him oversee our sales team. And Sarah will be a great asset to our customer service and relationships. We are thrilled to have them both join our already stellar team,” he said.

Ippolito International partner Ron Mondo, agreed. "As we continue to grow and diversify our product line, it's imperative we have a rock-solid sales team. I’m proud of what we’ve built and look forward to expanding upon that base with Henry at the helm and Sarah as part of the team,” he said.
