International Business Award Winner: JemD International Farms

JemD International Farms, located at 2400 Graham Side Road in Kingsville, is a producer of greenhouse-grown vegetables in Canada and Mexico. JemD was founded in 2003 by Jim DiMenna and Jamie Mastronardi. JemD currently operates two distribution warehouses in Canada and three in the U.S.

JemD specializes in growing the finest produce available. Their state-of-the-art operations, vast experience, and commitment to quality helps to ensure their tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers are consistently fresh and delicious. They take pride in knowing they have full control over their produce and all service areas. Since JemD’s business model is fully vertically integrated, they provide their partners and North American consumers with a direct from farm relationship.

JemD has two research greenhouses, one in Canada and one in Mexico. Here, JemD’s Artisan Growers work closely with seed companies to provide their consumers with an innovative and flavourful way to encourage increased vegetable amounts to their customer’s daily diets.
