Indianapolis Fruit Company is proud to announce that Domingo Escamilla Jr. is the new Director of Operations for the Garden Cut Division. Garden Cut is Indianapolis Fruit Companys in-house fresh fruit and vegetable processing facility; servicing retailers, delis, and food service innovators with the freshest and safest processed fruit and vegetables found in the region since the late 80s.
Mr. Escamilla, a native of the Monterrey Bay area in California, grew up in the Produce Industry and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the position. Domingo, much like his father, started working for Dole Fresh Vegetable at young age. He then moved on to New Star, working with famed Food Safety expert, Dr. Bob Whitaker. After a two year stint abroad in Mexico and Norway, studying and working in the international produce processing field; Domingo worked for True Leaf Farms.
