Idaho Potato Commission’s National Potato Day Contest Awards Weekend Getaway

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to spend the weekend in a giant potato?! The Idahoan and the Idaho Potato Commission are teaming up to make this dream a reality. 

In honor of National Potato Day, August 19, Idahoan and the Idaho Potato Commission are hosting a social-first recipe contest to showcase how mashed potatoes can be so much more than a side dish, they are the main event, with the grand prize winner receiving a weekend stay at the iconic Big Idaho Potato Hotel.

To enter, mashed potato fans can share a static image, carousel or video of their meal using Idahoan Mashed Potatoes as the main course on Instagram/TikTok tagging @Idahoan @idahopotatoes (IG) and @idahopotatoesofficial (TikTok) and hashtag #doesitpotato.
