Awe Sum Organics welcomes Nick Moless, formerly with Whole Foods Market, to its team as their new Program Manager. In this newly created role, Nick will bridge the gap between the procurement and sales teams.

His first priority is to partner with Awe Sum Organics growers and customers to provide an improved experience for all. Bringing a passion for organic produce and nearly 20 years of experience in the Produce Industry to Awe Sum Organics, Nick is excited to get started. “I worked with David Posner and the Awe Sum Organics Team for years and I’m very excited to help them expand their dedicated business in the organics industry. There’s a growing demand for organic produce and Awe Sum Organics has the relationships and knowledge to give consumers what they want – quality organic produce”

Much like Awe Sum Organics founder,  David Posner, Nick’s commitment to the produce industry started early. Working with a local family grocery store in the Bay Area, he fell in love with the small team collaborative way of working, the seasonal changes in produce and values of healthy eating.

He later joined Whole Foods Market’s Global Produce Purchasing Team where he spent 10 years learning many facets of the business from buying, accounting, compliance, administration, logistics, purchasing, and leadership. Most recently, Nick served as Whole Foods Market’s Produce Coordinator for the Pacific Northwest Region, where he oversaw regional produce purchasing and retail operations. He’s excited to return to Santa Cruz where organic is not just produce, but a way of life.

Nick is a graduate of University of California Santa Cruz, where he earned his Bachelor of Sciences degree with honors in Chemistry and Biochemistry in 2005. He’s an outdoor enthusiast, endurance athlete, and vegetarian. He’s completed six Ironman Triathlons.
