The promotion started March 5th and appears on all 12-oz. packages of Eat Smart-branded Broccoli florets shipped in the United States. The new art features a bright, eye-catching burst on both the front and back of the package, which informs consumers how they can enter to win a Visa Gift Card. The sweepstakes features a total of 18 prizes awarded as Visa Gift Cards—three grand prizes of $500 each and fifteen additional prizes of $225 each.

According to a survey sponsored by Sweepstakes Today, one of the web’s largest online sweepstakes entry portals, more than 90% of respondents indicated that they would buy or consider buying sweepstakes-sponsored products. Additionally, the survey revealed that a majority of respondents felt at least some increase in brand loyalty due to entering a branded sweepstakes.
