La Cañada Flintridge Calif. – On April 27, Allen Lund Company employees and family members joined with local business North Shore Burgers to participate in feeding the homeless in Downtown Los Angeles. This is ALC's third consecutive year donating time to help to feed the homeless at St. Vincent De Paul's Cardinal Manning Center.
"It is a distinct privilege to provide a hot meal to the homeless men who call the Cardinal Manning Center home while transitioning into employment," stated Nora Trueblood, Marketing Director at ALC. "We look forward to this day every year, and wish it was more often."

The Cardinal Manning Center is a homeless shelter in Downtown Los Angeles that offers a comprehensive program for adult men. The program assists in transitioning men from the streets into housing. On a monthly basis, corporate sponsors sign up for a day during the week to provide food to the residents of the center. Allen Lund Company takes pride in giving back to communities and helping people in need. Employees are encouraged to take part in community service events. This humbling event is one of many in ALC's continued endeavors of Acts of Kindness for the year.
