CONCORD — New Hampshire lawmakers are revising legislation that created a meat inspection program in the state five years ago but hasn't been fully implemented due to a lack of funding.
The Concord Monitor reports a committee is working to clarify the 2011 statute and discuss the future of the inspection program.
The work comes a month after the state experienced its first locally farmed beef recall in over a decade in North Haverhill.
