HOUSTON — Associates of Kroger Texas L.P., an affiliate of The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR), have ratified agreements with United Food and Commercial Workers (U.F.C.W.) Local 455.
The agreements cover more than 13,000 Kroger associates in the Houston Meat and Houston Clerks bargaining units who work in 107 stores in Texas.
"Kroger and UFCW worked together to reach agreements that provide our associates one of the best total compensation packages in our industry in Texas," said Bill Breetz, President of Kroger's Southwest Division. "The agreements include good wages, high-quality affordable health care, and pension benefits for our associates."
