The Life Time Tri Minneapolis is Minnesota’s premier annual summer triathlon. Now in its 17th year, the Minneapolis Tri is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 14 at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis. Thousands of elite, amateur and beginner athletes are expected to participate in this years’ swim, bike and run course. In addition to being the presenting sponsor, Just BARE is also the sponsor of the Just BARE Chicken Athlete Tracker, which allows friends, family and fans to track participating athletes’ progress throughout the course on race day. Roots for the Home Team is a groundbreaking program that partners with urban youth garden programs across the Twin Cities. Roots participants roll up their sleeves and learn how to plant and nurture gardens, then use that produce to develop unique salad and soup recipes that are sold at Target Field during Minnesota Twins’ weekend home games. Roots helps youth boldly believe in their futures, gain valuable entrepreneurial skills, pride and a greater sense of self through this first-of-its-kind salad enterprise.
