MARSHFIELD, Mass. – Taking the time to stop at a butcher shop can pay off
with higher-quality meats.
Erik Piantedosi, owner of the Piantedosi Butcher Shop in Plymouth, said shoppers
should consider going to a place where they can talk to the owner.
Youre better off going to an independently owned (shop), so you can see the
meat when we cut it, Piantedosi said.
When buying steaks, consumers should look for fat content in the meat, also
known as marbleization.
